American Teardrop Style Pallet Racking

Teardrop pallet racking is most popular style in North American industrial usage, It is the most economical and efficient way to store pallets or bulk boxes and maximize valuable storage space in your warehouse. Teardrop uprights and step beams will also fit most existing racking systems.

TEARDROP FRAMES

Teardrop systems offer easy assembly with 2" vertical beam adjustments. Bolted frame and Welded frame are optional as specific request. The teardrop beam-to-column connection is designed to be compatible with other widely available teardrop systems.

TEAR DROP STEP BEAMS

• Interchangeable teardrop step beams are available in 2.5”~6.0” profiles, in 48~156” length, with capacities to 12,000 lbs. per pair. You can attach Ironstone step beams into many existing Teardrop racking systems both old and new. Beams have a safety factor of 1.67 based on minimum yield of steel. All beam capacities are calculated based on the requirements of the latest RMI/ANSI MH16.1 - 2012 specification.
• Ironstone teardrop pallet rack system provides a robust, patented, automatic lock for improved Load safety. The automatic Springlock assembly provides positive beam-to-column engagement, improving installation speed and safety.
• All beam capacities are based on uniformly distributed loads on a pair of beams. Our new processing “ribs” that built around the beam face can improve the carrying capacity of a beam as well as capacity of anti-spreading from horizontal force

TEARDROP RACK ACCESSARIES

• Row spacer Create distance between each of your pallet rack bays. This allows you to keep all of the rows of pallet rack organized, in-line, and spaced evenly. The quantity of row spacers needed depends on the height of the uprights.

• Pallet Supports, For pallets that are not large enough to fit on a pallet rack shelving level, pallet supports will provide the needed extra platform base. Pallet supports create the added support by cascading over the face of the beam (waterfall type). Typically, two pallet supports are needed per pallet position.
• 3, Column Protectors, By adding increased protection for your storage system, column protectors preserve the condition and structural strength of your racking. Our typical 12" column protector is designed with long lasting steel and easily bolts to the floor for structural support.
• 4, Wire decks, Wire decks add utility to your storage unit by providing further stability for pallets stored on the racking. Decking can also be helpful for preserving stray product that may come out of boxes or cartons.
